FACEIT Season 8 has officially wrapped up, crowning five players as regional champions across different standings. The North American ladder saw Oz "flacko" O from F5 claim the top position with an impressive 4,034 ELO accumulated across 736 matches. Meanwhile, in Southeast Asia, Maks "laxiee" Andryei representing club 333 secured first place with 4,294 ELO over 244 matches.
The North American leaderboard proved highly competitive, with Without a Roof veteran Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte finishing narrowly behind flacko at 4,030 ELO. Other notable names rounding out the top rankings included Chance "WUMBO" Boyer and Michael "Grim" Wince. Interestingly, laxiee's regional switch paid dividends - after placing sixth in NA during the previous season, the Mongolian player secured the SEA crown this time around.
Both champions have been active with their respective teams recently. Since joining F5 in July, flacko helped his squad secure a runner-up finish at SOFLO Slam 2. Club 333 also earned a silver medal at CROSSFIRE Season 5 last month, though laxiee did not take part in that particular tournament.
