The FISSURE Playground 3 tournament is set to bring together some of the strongest teams in competitive Counter-Strike 2 for an exciting showdown in China.
The event features 16 participating teams, including five squads from the top ten of the VRS rankings. Competition will be structured around two separate double-elimination groups, each containing eight teams. From each group, three squads will advance to the playoff stage. Group winners earn a coveted direct berth into the semi-finals, while second and third-place finishers must battle through the quarter-final rounds.
The group stage kicks off on September 8 and runs through three days of intense competition. Following that, the playoff bracket unfolds from September 11 through September 13, where the championship will be decided.
The tournament boasts a substantial prize pool totaling one million dollars, distributed between cash prizes and club shares. The champions will take home $165,000 in prize money plus an additional $135,000 in club share. Runner-up receives $75,000 and $85,000 respectively, with prizes decreasing for lower placements down to $5,000 and $10,000 for teams finishing 13th through 16th.
Fantasy competition adds another layer of excitement, with participants competing for premium weapon skins including Shadow Daggers Tiger Tooth, AK-47 Asiimov, and other valuable items. The fantasy game covers the entire tournament duration.
