July 14, 20262 min read

Following IEM Cologne and ahead of the upcoming Singapore event, FiReSPORTS has shared first venue information for the Buenos Aires Major scheduled from May 31st through June 20th, 2027.

The Argentine capital will host the tournament across two distinct locations. Stages 1, 2, and 3 take place at Usina del Arte, a cultural center situated near downtown Buenos Aires. The venue features an auditorium accommodating approximately 1,200 spectators and a smaller chamber hall with room for 280, though organizers haven't confirmed which early stages will welcome live audiences.

The playoff rounds move to Movistar Arena, Argentina's second-biggest indoor venue. Positioned just miles from the city center, this modern facility regularly welcomes internationally renowned performers and can seat around fifteen thousand fans. The arena represents one of the country's premier entertainment spaces, promising an electrifying atmosphere befitting Counter-Strike's premier championship.

Atmosphere remains essential to any major esports tournament, particularly for events of this caliber. With Buenos Aires ranking among South America's largest metropolitan areas and both venues conveniently located near the urban core, the tournament setup suggests an impressive spectator experience. The combination of accessible downtown locations and substantial seating capacity positions this Major to deliver the energy and excitement fans expect from Counter-Strike's most significant competitions.
