FaZe have punched their ticket to Malta for the BLAST Bounty LAN finals after taking down both EYEBALLERS and DENDELE in qualifying matches. The road wasn't easy, as several heavyweight squads including Falcons, Vitality, and FURIA failed to make the cut.
The decisive best-of-three series against DENDELE showcased FaZe's resilience across all three maps. On Nuke, the European squad dominated completely, with AWPer Jason "JBOEN" Boe Nielsen putting on a clinic. He racked up 19 kills while dying just once, finishing with an impressive 2.04 rating as DENDELE managed only two rounds total.
However, DENDELE fought back hard on Mirage, FaZe's own map selection. Brazilian stars Danilo "doc" Barros and João "koala" Pedro stepped up massively, leading their team to a 13-10 upset victory. JBOEN struggled significantly this time, posting a weak 0.65 rating.
Cache became the battleground for the final showdown. FaZe executed an almost flawless terrorist side that sealed their series victory and LAN qualification. Jakub "jcobbb" Pietruszewski emerged as the match MVP, topping the overall scoreboard with an outstanding display.
The LAN finals are scheduled to kick off on July 30th in Malta.
