The open qualifier roster for the Esports World Cup Counter-Strike tournament has been finalized following the close of registrations. A total of 64 squads are set to compete in the intense three-day LAN qualifier, with only four coveted spots at the $2 million main event up for grabs.

The tournament's growing international prestige, coupled with substantial prize pools in both the Counter-Strike competition and Club Championship, has established this as one of the season's premier events. Remarkably, all 28 teams eligible under VRS ranking criteria have accepted their invitations.

Among the heavy hitters competing through the qualifier are Liquid, BC.Game, HEROIC, 100 Thieves, NRG, and DENDELE. These powerhouse rosters will need to navigate a ruthless format to secure their place in the main event.

The qualifier kicks off with 16 double-elimination groups, each containing four teams. From there, the top two squads from every group advance to single-elimination playoffs. Every match throughout the qualifier will be contested in a best-of-three series, ensuring no room for error.

Competition begins on August 7, promising three days of high-stakes Counter-Strike action as teams fight for their shot at glory and a share of the massive prize pool.
