The group stage at the Esports World Cup open qualifier in Paris has reached its conclusion, with 32 squads successfully securing their spots in the playoff bracket.
Among the final teams to clinch advancement were several notable names in the competitive scene. Fluxo, SAW, 1win, and Iberian Soul all navigated their decisive group matches to join the collection of contenders vying for the four available berths at the main Esports World Cup event.
Iberian Soul faced the most dramatic path to qualification, nearly falling victim to an upset against 6666. After dropping Ancient to go down 0-1 in the series, the Spanish roster mounted an impressive comeback. They dominated both Inferno and Mirage to secure the series victory and their playoff position.
The remaining decisive matches proved far less challenging for the favored sides, with most concluding in straightforward 2-0 victories. ASTRAL and INFINITE both received forfeit wins when their scheduled opponents failed to appear for their matches.
With these final results determined, the complete playoff roster is now set. All 32 qualified teams will battle through the bracket format, with only four squads ultimately earning passage to compete at the prestigious Esports World Cup main stage.
