Turkish esports organization Eternal Fire has officially announced the acquisition of Ukrainian player Vladyslav "Kvem" Korol, who entered free agency just one week ago.
Korol became available on June 26 when his contract with Passion UA came to an end. During his 18-month tenure with the organization, he maintained an impressive 1.11 rating, though questions remain about Passion UA's continued presence in the competitive scene.
The signing addresses one of two vacant roster positions created earlier this month when Eternal Fire parted ways with Sergiy "DemQQ" Demchenko and Rigon "rigoN" Gashi. The duo had been with the Turkish squad for six months before the organization decided to make changes.
According to local Turkish sources, the team is actively pursuing Alexander "br0" Bro, currently benched by NRG, to complete their revamped lineup.
The current Eternal Fire roster features Samet "jottAAA" Köklü on loan from Aurora, Iulian "regali" Harjău, and Gareth "MisteM" Ries as active players. Yiğit "yT" Özden continues in his coaching role, while Ömer "imoRR" Karataş, Buğra "Calyx" Arkın, and Volodymyr "Woro2k" Veletniuk remain on the bench as the organization finalizes its competitive roster.
