The playoff stage across all ESEA divisions has concluded, finalizing the roster of competitors for the Season 58 North American Finals. Starting tomorrow and running through September 27th, the online tournament will see teams competing for two qualification spots in ECL Season 52 Cup #4 alongside a substantial $33,500 prize pool.
The competition format features 16 squads—four from each division—entering a single-elimination bracket at different stages based on their qualifying division. Opening matches will pit the four Open10 Division representatives against four Intermediate teams. Winners from this initial round advance to face Main division squads, before Advanced teams enter during the quarterfinal stage. From that point forward, HLTV coverage begins as the bracket progresses toward the grand final, where the champion claims $15,000.
The strongest contenders emerge from ESEA Advanced, where Marsborne, SportsBetExpert, LAG, and Desi Boyz secured their positions. These rosters, especially SportsBetExpert and LAG, have demonstrated impressive performance recently and will aggressively pursue the top prize.
Several Main division participants, including my life be like and Skyline, competed in the latest CROSSFIRE season. Another notable Main squad is QcClan, the Canadian mixed roster led by David "J0LZ" Jolin.
While most Intermediate and Open10 teams remain relatively unknown quantities, one standout is Without a Roof. Built around seasoned North American players Jake "Stewie2K" Yip and Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte, this rising squad recently reached the NSTLGA League Season 2 finals, positioning them as potential dark horses for a deep tournament run.
Competition kicks off on Wednesday, September 23rd.
