EMPIRE and no1nx mutually part ways after ESEA Season 56 run

July 14, 20261 min read

North American esports organization EMPIRE has confirmed they are parting ways with their in-game leader Christian "no1nx" Labrada through a mutual decision.

The American IGL became part of EMPIRE this past February when the organization picked up the entire MAZRAEA lineup. Under no1nx's leadership, the squad achieved a respectable top four placement at the ESEA Season 56 North American Finals, marking a solid run for the team during his tenure.

In their official statement posted on X, the organization thanked no1nx for his contributions and hinted at upcoming changes with the phrase, "The next chapter begins."

According to sources at Dust2.us, EMPIRE has already finalized their decision on who will replace the departing captain, with an official reveal expected within the next few days.

Following no1nx's exit, EMPIRE's active roster now consists of Nicolas "C0C0" Nassoura, Cole "twigs" Morad, Kaan "BAGEL" Demircan, and Colby "Walco" Walsh, with Jeremy "Nexity" Bardy continuing in his coaching role. The team will be looking to maintain their competitive form as they prepare to introduce their new fifth member.
