The organizers of DraculaN have unveiled the complete 24-team roster for their seventh season tournament, scheduled to take place between October 19th and 23rd. The event drew immediate attention, collecting more than 20 team registrations within the first 60 minutes of opening signups.
With a prize pool of $35,000 and timing set just seven days ahead of the VRS qualification deadline for the Singapore PGL Major, this tournament carries significant weight for participating teams. The competition will feature prominent North American organizations Liquid and M80, alongside European contenders including HEROIC, Alliance, BC.Game, and Luminosity.
Interestingly, M80 initially found themselves on the waiting list but secured the final available slot after several teams failed to meet payment deadlines. The defending champions from Season 6 will return to compete after their dominant victory in the previous edition.
The European region dominates the participant list, with squads such as SAW, 3DMAX, Iberian Soul, and 9INE confirmed to attend. Brazilian representation comes through LargadosyPelados and Luminosity's in-game leader Lucas "lux" Meneghini.
Both M80 and Liquid experienced underwhelming results at the recent Esports World Cup, making this tournament particularly important for accumulating VRS points ahead of the Singapore Major qualification cutoff. The event presents a crucial opportunity for redemption and advancement.
NRG currently sits on the waitlist but faces slim chances of participation, with organizations like Fnatic and NIP positioned ahead of them in the queue.
