DENDELE Partnership Brings New Name to Brazilian CS Squad

July 21, 20261 min read

A prominent Brazilian Counter-Strike team has undergone a significant rebranding, adopting the DENDELE name through a newly formed partnership. The organization is connected to Kings League, a unique seven-a-side football competition founded by legendary defender Gerard Piqué in 2022.

This collaboration results in the CS roster competing under fresh branding going forward, with social media channels reflecting the updated identity. The squad's competitive trajectory remains unchanged despite the name switch.

The team's recent performance at the IEM Cologne Major saw them exit Stage 1 with a 1-3 match record while still carrying their previous identity. They've also secured qualification for BLAST Open Porto, scheduled to kick off in late August.

Their debut under the new banner arrives sooner at BLAST Bounty, where they'll square off against FURIA in Friday's opening round matchup.

The roster features Victor "gafolo" Andrade, João "koala" Pfeffer, Máximo "maxxkor" Cortina, Daniel "rdnzao" Monteiro, and Danilo "doc" Barros, with Hélder "coachi" Sancho leading as coach. This majority-Brazilian lineup will carry their new identity into the competitive season ahead.
