FUT have punched their ticket to the top eight at BLAST Open following a convincing 2-0 sweep over Inner Circle, simultaneously ending a painful nine-match losing streak on Nuke that dated back to April 11.
The Turkish squad's Nuke performance showcased a powerful 9-3 CT-side display complemented by pistol round victories on both halves, making their traditionally weaker T-side duties almost irrelevant. Coach András "coolio" Fercsák's halftime instructions revealed their approach: "Follow the strats, don't try to be smart. When we don't think, we are winning."
Dmytro "dem0n" Myroshnychenko emerged as the standout performer across the series. On Mirage, he set the pace early with an audacious Dualies frag and maintained dominance throughout, finishing with an impressive 1.81 rating. Reflecting on that opening play, dem0n told the broadcast desk he immediately sensed a strong performance ahead.
Inner Circle, despite opening the tournament with an upset over Vitality, couldn't sustain that momentum. Their star player Arseniy "cptkurtka023" Derevinskiy, instrumental in that initial victory, struggled immensely on Nuke with a 0-9 record in opening duels as his team fell behind 0-8 to start the map.
dem0n continued his exceptional form on Nuke, remaining untouchable during FUT's 8-0 opening run. He closed the series with a staggering 2.02 rating, 103 average damage per round, and a plus 8.82 percent swing rating.
FUT now await either Legacy or Vitality in their quarterfinal matchup, with one of the final two playoff spots in Porto on the line.
