Professional Counter-Strike 2 player Abdul 'degster' Gasanov has opened up about devastating health challenges affecting his family. The esports athlete took to Telegram to share that two of his relatives received cancer diagnoses in June.
In his emotional message, degster described this as an incredibly difficult time, stating he cannot recall a worse period in his life. The double diagnosis has clearly taken a significant toll on the player and his loved ones.
Currently, degster is not competing with any professional team. His most recent organization was Team Falcons, where he departed from the main roster in spring 2025. Following his exit from the active lineup, he remained on the bench for approximately six months before becoming a free agent.
