This represents a major upgrade compared to Season 5, which featured HLTV coverage only from the quarterfinals stage and lacked a lower bracket entirely. The broader coverage framework provides participating squads with additional opportunities to accumulate VRS points.
For many competing teams, these points serve as crucial stepping stones toward qualification for the FiRe Buenos Aires Major scheduled for May next year. Their chances of securing a spot at the PGL Singapore Major this year remain practically non-existent.
Several prominent organizations including Marsborne, Without a Roof, Overtake Sector, and regain remain active contenders for the $6,000 prize pool awarded to the champion.
