The Bulgarian rifler acknowledged the difficulties of the KODEX matchup, noting that losing both pistol rounds put the team at a significant disadvantage. He attributed some struggles to the roster's limited time together and technical issues including lag that affected focus during the game.
When asked about his return to North America after stints with Evil Geniuses and NRG, CeRq explained that the opportunity aligned with his current situation. He emphasized this isn't a casual venture, stating clearly that the team is serious about their work and goals.
CeRq replaced Skadoodle on the Without a Roof roster, a move that had been considered previously but only became possible when visa circumstances and VRS point opportunities aligned. The timing worked out as building VRS points from scratch presents significant challenges for players.
Addressing his six-month hiatus after departing from 500, CeRq revealed he needed a mental reset due to accumulated personal pressures. While he initially considered retirement, he found himself missing competition sooner than anticipated. The change of scenery that North America offers played a major role in his decision to return.
Regarding the reunited Evil Geniuses core, CeRq emphasized that individual maturity will be the key differentiator from their previous iteration. The original roster faced immense pressure, but he's confident the outcome will differ this time around.
CeRq noted his evolved role within the team structure, now contributing more vocally rather than simply following instructions as he did when younger. With Stewie2K returning as in-game leader and steel joining as coach, the rifler expressed optimism about competing against top North American teams, declaring their intention to win.
