BLAST has unveiled the complete roster of 12 directly invited squads for the forthcoming BLAST Open Porto tournament, which launches on August 24.
All invited organizations have confirmed their participation, with the lineup consisting of the top 12 VRS-ranked teams based on standings from the July 6 cutoff date. These squads will compete in the group stage held in Copenhagen before advancing to Portugal.
Reigning BLAST Open Rotterdam champions Vitality will look to reclaim their dominant form at this competition. Meanwhile, Falcons, Spirit, and Natus Vincere—all standout performers at the Cologne Major—enter as leading contenders for the championship title.
These 12 invited teams will be joined by four squads that earned their places through regional qualifying competitions: Lynn Vision, M80, Sharks, and Inner Circle successfully navigated their respective qualifiers to secure tournament berths.
The tournament structure begins with group stage matches at BLAST's Copenhagen studios starting August 24. The top six advancing teams will then travel to Porto's Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota for the playoff stage, running from September 4 through 6.
