The lineup for BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 Finals has been finalized, revealing a surprising lack of elite competition as Spirit emerged as the sole top-10 team advancing to the LAN quarter-finals in Malta.
Notably absent from the finals are heavyweights Falcons, Vitality, and FURIA, all of whom were eliminated during the online qualification stage. The revamped rosters of Aurora and G2 similarly failed to secure their spots, making MOUZ, ranked 11th globally, the second-highest team heading to the event.
The MongolZ successfully navigated through their recent roster adjustments to claim qualification. Meanwhile, FaZe will look to collect valuable VRS points at the LAN event following their absence from the Cologne Major.
Astralis qualified with newly appointed coach Filip "NEO" Kubski guiding the squad. Brazilian hopefuls paiN and European contenders 3DMAX also punched their tickets to Malta.
Liquid made perhaps the strongest statement of the qualifiers, with fresh in-game leader Johnny "JT" Theodosiou and AWPer Georgi "Jorko" Mitev steering the team to dominant 2-0 victories over both Vitality and G2.
The tournament organizers will reveal matchups during a live draft show in Malta later this week. Fifth-seeded paiN gets first pick, followed by FaZe, 3DMAX, and Liquid in the selection order.
