BESTIA have decided to bench their 22-year-old player Ignacio 'nacho' Rodriguez, citing a need to redefine team roles. This decision marks the end of Rodriguez's half-year tenure with the squad.
The move comes after a challenging stretch for the organization, during which they failed to secure spots at several major tournaments including BLAST Open Porto and StarLadder StarSeries Fall. The team's struggles have also resulted in them dropping below the top 50 in the VRS rankings. Rodriguez's individual performance over the past three months showed a 0.99 rating across 52 maps, with 0.62 kills per round and 0.63 deaths per round.
In other news, Urban Riga Open 7 has revealed that team registration will commence on August 24. The eight-team LAN tournament is scheduled to take place in Latvia's capital city on September 29-30, featuring a prize pool of five thousand five hundred dollars. The event promises to bring competitive Counter-Strike action to the Baltic region as teams compete for their share of the purse.
