BESTIA and Fluxo have significantly improved their standings in the Americas Valve Regional Standings, now occupying joint-tenth position following Circuit X Curitiba's conclusion. Both squads sit merely 14 Valve points away from qualifying for the Singapore Major.
Competing in their inaugural LAN appearance with new additions André "drop" Abreu and Kaue "kauez" Kaschuk, BESTIA dominated the tournament with only a single setback. Their sole loss came against Galorys in group play, a 0-2 result that didn't stop their championship march. The victorious campaign earned them 204 points, and drop received MVP honors from Dust2 Brasil.
Reflecting on his achievement, drop expressed surprise at earning the accolade given his typical role. He emphasized that while individual statistics take a backseat to team success, the recognition validates his early contributions to the roster.
Fluxo's tournament journey saw them finish as Group C runners-up behind ShindeN before stunning top-seeded paiN in the quarterfinals. Though they fell to Bounty Hunters in the semifinals, they rebounded to defeat ShindeN in the bronze medal match.
For paiN, the event represented another disappointing result. Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencourt's squad collected just 14 Valve points, failing once again to strengthen their rankings position. Their next opportunity arrives at FERJEE In House from September 23-27, where Imperial and Bounty Hunters loom as primary competition.
Both BESTIA and Fluxo will pursue Major qualification overseas next. BESTIA heads to the United States for iBUYPOWER Masters FML, while Fluxo travels to Portugal for LEON.bet Masters Season 1.
