BC.Game has officially benched Denis "electroNic" Sharipov following close to a year with the active roster, the organization confirmed today. According to HLTV sources, the team is nearing completion of a deal to bring in Tyson "asap" Paterson from THUNDER dOWNUNDER.
The strategic reasoning behind this roster change extends beyond individual performance. Currently ranked 36th in Europe's VRS standings, BC.Game sits outside the direct invite threshold for PGL Major Singapore. By recruiting an Australian player like asap to join their existing Mongolian pair of Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold and Ayush "mzinho" Batbold, the organization would establish an Asian core majority, significantly improving their Major qualification prospects.
This tactical approach mirrors Team Liquid's previous move when they signed Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa to secure an Americas invitation to IEM Cologne.
During electroNic's time with BC.Game, the squad achieved their peak result by winning Elisa BreakOut Series #1.
