BC.Game have officially announced the addition of Tyson "asap" Paterson from THUNDER dOWNUNDER, filling the roster spot left by the benched Denis "electroNic" Sharipov. The move had been previously reported by HLTV.
The most critical element of this roster change is BC.Game's shift from the European VRS region to Asia. With asap joining Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold and Ayush "mzinho" Batbold, the team now features a majority-Asian lineup, triggering the regional transfer.
This strategic move significantly improves BC.Game's path to PGL Major Singapore. Previously positioned 36th in the European VRS with only 18 spots available, their prospects were bleak. However, their current 1,191 points would place them fourth in the Asian VRS, where five teams receive Major invitations.
asap brings extensive regional experience, having competed in HLTV-tracked matches since 2019. His international breakthrough came with Rooster in 2023, where he participated in multiple ESL Pro League and ESL Challenger tournaments, plus the IEM Katowice 2024 play-in stage.
Most recently with THUNDER dOWNUNDER, asap qualified for his maiden Major at IEM Cologne. He impressed with a 1.24 rating in Stage 1 and delivered an outstanding 2.04-rated performance in a best-of-one upset victory over MIBR, though his squad couldn't advance further.
BC.Game now fields Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold, Ayush "mzinho" Batbold, Emil "Magisk" Reif, and Tyson "asap" Paterson, with Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas as coach.
