BC.Game Crash Out of Seventh Straight Qualifier After XCity Upset

September 16, 20262 min read

BC.Game have extended their nightmare qualifying streak to seven consecutive failures following a shocking defeat to XCity, a team ranked #325 in the VRS rankings. The latest setback came in Stake Pulse Beat III: Open Qualifier #1, adding another disappointment to their growing list of early exits.

The troubling pattern started last month when BC.Game were knocked out by 100 Thieves in the EWC Open Qualifier. Since then, the team has failed to advance through any qualifier they've entered. Their elimination list includes the Intel Extreme Masters Beijing 2026: Global Open Qualifier, both Open Qualifiers for Stake Pulse Beat II, and both European Open Qualifiers for PGL Masters Bucharest 2026.

Despite still having another opportunity to qualify for Stake Pulse Beat III, this extended series of poor results raises serious concerns about the roster's current form. The squad, which combines experienced veteran players with Mongolian talent, has struggled to live up to expectations. Since claiming the championship title at Elisa Esports Breakout Series 1, BC.Game have been unable to secure a finish higher than fifth place in any competition.

The team's inability to overcome lower-ranked opponents like XCity suggests deeper issues that need addressing if they hope to turn their fortunes around.
