BC.Game has officially benched Denis "electroNic" Sharipov, with insider sources pointing to Tyson "asap" Paterson from THUNDER dOWNUNDER as his incoming replacement.
The strategic roster change aims to transform the team's regional classification from European to Asian, significantly enhancing their path to the PGL Singapore Major. Currently positioned at 36th on the European VRS with only 18 invitation slots available, BC.Game faces steep odds. However, their 1,191 points would place them fourth on the Asian rankings, where five teams earn Major invites.
CEO Ali Muhanned addressed the difficult decision while praising the departing player's contributions. He emphasized that electroNic has been a positive force both in-game and within the team atmosphere, contrary to some social media portrayals. The CEO described him as someone who keeps teammates in good spirits through humor and camaraderie.
Muhanned stressed that the timing was crucial, with the Major invitation deadline approaching in early November. He acknowledged that given more preparation time with the newly formed roster, he would have preferred keeping electroNic longer.
The organization plans to accumulate additional ranking points at upcoming smaller events including ROG Journey Autumn, Stake Pulse Beat III, and DraculaN Season 7 during the remaining six weeks before the deadline.
With asap's expected arrival, the revamped BC.Game roster will feature s1mple, Senzu, mzinho, Magisk, and asap under coach TaZ's guidance.
