Aurora Gaming has finalized their Counter-Strike 2 roster for the remainder of 2026 by securing Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski as their new in-game leader. This signing comes just two days after the organization announced the acquisitions of Jimpphat from MOUZ and Coach ashhh from GamerLegion.
The North Macedonian captain previously competed for Team Falcons before being benched prior to the IEM Cologne Major when karrigan joined the squad. After more than two months away from competitive play, kyxsan returns to top-tier Counter-Strike to lead Aurora's international project.
Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo, the 19-year-old Finnish player, brings impressive credentials to the lineup. During his three-year tenure with MOUZ, he helped secure multiple premier championships, including two ESL Pro League titles and PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025. His reputation as a skilled anchor with exceptional utility usage and clutch abilities makes him a valuable addition.
Aurora underwent significant restructuring after their top-four Major finish, transitioning from an all-Turkish squad to an international roster. The organization moved MAJ3R, soulfly, and coach Fabre to the inactive list while retaining three members from the former core.
The 26-year-old kyxsan gained recognition in 2023 when he guided Apeks to a top-four placement at the Paris Major. His leadership with Team Falcons resulted in seven Grand Finals appearances, including a victory at PGL Bucharest 2025 and third-place finishes at major events like the Esports World Cup 2025 and IEM Rio 2026.
Aurora's debut with this new configuration will likely occur at the BLAST Bounty Summer Online Qualifiers, where 32 teams compete for eight LAN Finals spots. Currently ranked 9th in the Valve Regional Standings, the team aims to maintain momentum heading toward the Singapore Major in late November.
