Arctic Ace roster hit by Canadian wildfire emergency

July 28, 20261 min read

Arctic Ace faces another roster shake-up as Jon "cloudy" Kalacis has been removed from active duty to fulfill his responsibilities as a firefighter in British Columbia. The player has been deployed to combat ongoing wildfires threatening communities and wildlife in the region.

This comes less than two weeks after the departure of Christophe "Dodge" Mailhot from the squad, creating additional challenges for the Canadian organization.

In a silver lining for Arctic Ace, cloudy's teammate Lukasz "Lukasz" Brodowicz, who also serves as a firefighter, has recently returned from his own deployment and will remain in the active lineup moving forward.

To maintain their competitive schedule, Arctic Ace announced they will utilize two substitutes in the coming months. The team has already fielded Eduard "nico1ajus" Kuchynskyi and "Timbis" in an ESEA Advanced match against Marsborne on the same day as the announcement.

The current Arctic Ace roster features Eric "depend" Dee and Andrew "shiraz" McGrath alongside Brodowicz and the two new additions, as they navigate this transition period while their teammates serve their communities.
