During their second match, Gentle Mates publicly announced their withdrawal from Counter-Strike after supporting the Spanish roster for one year. This leaves the team searching for organizational backing once more.
Speaking after the victory, alex acknowledged the mental toll of operating without organizational support. "When you don't have a club to play for, you need to pay out of pocket to come to this kind of event, so it's hard mentally," he explained. The captain confirmed discussions are ongoing with potential organizations and expressed optimism about resolving the situation quickly.
The roster currently features CRUC1AL as a stand-in, with djL serving as coach. Alex clarified this will be CRUC1AL's final event with the team as they evaluate their options moving forward.
Regarding future plans, alex revealed the squad will likely pursue international talent to replace Antonio "MartinezSa" Martinez. The challenge stems from Spain's limited AWPer pool, with only SunPayus and Martinez available at the professional level. "I think in this game a good AWPer makes the difference," alex stated, explaining why international recruitment has become necessary.
