The road to glory proved challenging for 3DMAX. They placed second in their group after a three-way deadlock with BBL and EYEBALLERS, having suffered defeats against Inner Circle and Liquid. The playoff stage saw them navigate tight three-map series against M80 and Inner Circle before the marathon grand final.
The final itself lasted nearly seven hours, with 3DMAX ultimately preventing Luminosity's reverse sweep attempt by securing an overtime victory on the decisive Nuke map. This marks their second championship this month, following their NODWIN Clutch Series 11 triumph.
The timing couldn't be better for Bryan "Maka" Canda's squad, as reports suggest they're close to joining the Envy organization. The North American org seemingly confirmed their CS2 return through a post on X immediately following the final.
3DMAX will look to maintain momentum at their next competition, the 1win Private Club Season 1 in Belgrade, a $100,000 event starting Friday. Meanwhile, Luminosity, ranked 17th in Europe with a seven-point cushion over 3DMAX, returns to competition at Stake Ranked Episode 4 in Barcelona on October 1.
