Eighteen-year-old rifler Ava "AVA174" Dunn has announced her departure from Shimmer, entering free agency ahead of ESEA Advanced Season 59. The player represented the organization-less squad, formerly known as Impact, from April through September of this year.
During her tenure with Shimmer, AVA174 competed across 17 official maps, posting a 0.88 rating. Her strongest showing came months ago on Nuke against InControl. In the team's final best-of-one match of ESEA Advanced Season 58, where Shimmer finished in 42nd place, she recorded an even 18-18 kill-death ratio.
Speaking with Dust2.us, AVA174 explained her decision stemmed from ongoing team difficulties and insufficient practice opportunities. She expressed frustration with the limited training schedule available to the roster, ultimately prompting her to explore alternative options for the upcoming season.
Following AVA174's exit, Shimmer's active lineup now features Lucy "empathy" Verkaik, Wrenna "Stx" Trampel, Alice "alicerawr" Hewitt, and Juna "juna" Rogel, with Sylvie "Serendipity" Splaver continuing in her coaching role. The team will need to find a replacement rifler before Season 59 begins.
