The Fantasy Season is back with another exciting game as the Esports World Cup group stage kicks off, bringing together 32 teams in fierce competition.
The overall season offers a massive $10,000 prize pool split among the top 10 players, culminating after the Singapore Major in December. Thanks to Hellcase sponsorship, first place takes home $5,000, second gets $2,000, third receives $1,000, and places 4-10 each earn $300. The good news? It's not too late to jump in and compete.
This particular game features an interesting format with four eight-team double-elimination groups. The top four squads from each group will advance to playoffs, with opening matches played as best-of-one and subsequent rounds as best-of-three series. Players have 160 options across 32 teams to build their rosters.
Notably, four teams joined after completing the open qualifier: 100 Thieves, BIG, JiJieHao, and K27. The separate group structure creates diverse strategic possibilities for team builders.
Pricing dynamics reveal intriguing patterns. Gizmy from a lower-ranked team became the fourth most-picked player thanks to dominant open qualifier performances where he posted a 1.23 rating average in competitive playoff matches, all while costing just $170k. Meanwhile, superstars ZywOo, donk, and m0NESY share identical $245k price tags, though donk leads popularity at 27% roster presence.
Beyond season points, Hellcase provides skin rewards including Shadow Daggers Tiger Tooth for first place, AK-47 Asiimov for second, and AWP Redline for third, with additional prizes down to tenth place.
