Los Angeles-based organization 100 Thieves have successfully secured their position at FiReSPORTS LAST CHANCE, a high-stakes $75,000 LAN tournament taking place in Argentina from October 29th through November 1st.
The event's timing proved critical, ending just one day before PGL Singapore Major 2026 invitations are distributed. Combined with its substantial prize pool, this created intense competition among teams desperate to prove their worth before the Major.
The registration process became a frantic race, with 31 applications submitted within the first 20 minutes for just 16 available slots. When accounting for unique teams, 100 Thieves claimed the final 16th position merely five minutes after sign-ups opened. Eight organizations have already completed payment and confirmed their participation.
The current lineup features a balanced representation from Europe and South America. Major organizations like GamerLegion, Ninjas in Pyjamas, DENDELE, and paiN have locked in their spots in Buenos Aires. Teams including Bounty Hunters, Isurus, Procyon, and SAW round out the confirmed participants.
Voca and SportsBetExpert remain in strong positions to join the competition, having been among the initial 16 teams to register and needing only to complete their entry fees. Wildcard faces a more challenging situation, sitting 17th in the queue and requiring another team to withdraw before they can participate.
The tournament represents a crucial opportunity for squads seeking Major qualification, making every spot highly coveted in the competitive Counter-Strike scene.
