Registration has officially opened for the XSE Pro League Luoyang 2026, with 100 Thieves and BC.Game among the early participants to secure their spots in this Chinese competition.
The tier-two LAN tournament is scheduled to run from October 29th through November 1st, wrapping up exactly one day before the VRS invitation deadline for the upcoming PGL Singapore Major. This timing creates a crucial opportunity for teams still fighting for their chance at the Major.
Both organizations face an uphill battle to secure Major qualification. Current projections from MischiefCS suggest 100 Thieves hold approximately a 23% probability of earning a Major spot, while BC.Game faces even longer odds at roughly 9%. Strong performances in upcoming events will be essential for both squads if they hope to improve those numbers.
The tournament format restricts participation from the top twelve teams in the Global VRS standings, as this is classified as a tier-two event. Direct invitations will be extended to the six highest-ranked teams that register, while the remaining two tournament slots will be determined through a preliminary play-in stage.
Sixteen teams will compete in the play-in qualifier, which is set to take place from October 4th through the 7th. These spots will be allocated to the next highest VRS-ranked teams following the initial six direct invitees.
