Vitality cruised to victory over MOUZ in the ESL Pro League Season 24 grand final, capturing their second consecutive championship. The triumph comes at a crucial time, just before Dan "apEX" Madesclaire takes a break from competition to welcome his newborn child ahead of PGL Masters Bucharest.

Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut's exceptional performance throughout the tournament in Spodek Arena earned him the 34th MVP medal of his remarkable career. Speaking to HLTV after the match, the French phenomenon expressed particular enthusiasm about his performances on Cache, where he posted an outstanding 2.03 rating across three maps.

"It was possibly one of my favorite maps even way back in 2017," ZywOo explained. "Getting to compete on it again and performing at this level makes me genuinely happy. I've always had special feelings for this map. It's truly exceptional. I understand the angles, the timing, and exactly how to support my teammates here. Playing A side on Cache feels natural to me."

Regarding the team's map pool after losing Overpass, ZywOo acknowledged some initial disappointment but remains satisfied with the current rotation, suggesting only Anubis could use improvements.

When asked about apEX's temporary absence and its potential impact on Vitality's dominance, ZywOo remained focused and determined. "His presence doesn't change our objective," he stated firmly. "Victory is victory. We'll compete with jL just like we did in Porto, giving everything to win the tournament. We need that confidence and momentum, so we'll maintain our highest standards."

The star player also noted that William "mezii" will step into increased in-game leadership responsibilities, with the entire team taking on more vocal roles during apEX's absence.
