Aurora have clinched third place at ESL Pro League Season 24, delivering a commanding 2-0 performance against Spirit. The European squad secured their podium finish with convincing victories on Mirage (13-9) and Anubis (13-6).
The stakes were noticeably higher for Aurora than their opponents. The freshly-formed international lineup was eager to validate their recent progress and edge closer to securing a Stage 3 slot for the Singapore Major. This motivation translated directly into their gameplay, as Aurora demonstrated superior execution across all aspects while Spirit struggled to find their rhythm. Frustration was clearly visible on Spirit's player cameras throughout the series.
On Mirage, Aurora stormed to a 6-1 advantage early on, capitalizing on their pistol round victory and several dominant gun rounds. Spirit managed to disrupt Aurora's flow with strategic low-buy victories, clawing back to make it a competitive half at 6-5. Aurora maintained control in the second half, and despite resistance from Andrey "tN1R" Tatarinovich and Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov, they closed out their opponent's map selection.
Anubis proved even more lopsided. Spirit appeared unable to establish any momentum, their frustration mounting as the map progressed. Aurora excelled in mid-round situations, extracted superior firepower from their individual players, and cruised to a comfortable 13-6 victory to seal the series and claim their third-place finish.
