North American organization Voca have officially registered and paid for their participation in Elisa BreakOut Series #2, set to take place in Tampere, Finland. They join four other squads competing at this Finnish LAN event.
The tournament organizers extended invitations to the top eight teams from the registration list, working their way down as certain organizations turned down the opportunity. Among those who declined were prominent North American rosters NRG and Wildcard, along with Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz's Metizport squad. The two NA organizations chose to prioritize FRAG University in New York instead, scheduled from October 9th through October 11th.
For Voca, this competition represents a critical opportunity to accumulate VRS points essential for their PGL Major Singapore qualification hopes. The American roster is also set to compete at ROG Journey Autumn in Sweden, pursuing every available avenue toward securing a Major berth.
The tournament format features two days of round-robin group stage action with best-of-one matches. Group A battles on day one, while Group B follows on day two. The top two performers from each group advance to the playoff bracket—a best-of-three single-elimination format taking place on Saturday, October 17th.
The confirmed participant list includes Famalicão, GamerLegion, Jam, Phantom, and Voca, with three spots potentially still available from the original invitation list.
