SportsBetExpert represented one of two North American teams competing at ROG JOURNEY Autumn 2026 in Sweden. Despite starting with a promising win against HAVU, the squad's tournament ended in disappointment as they failed to secure a playoff spot, finishing fourth in Group C.
The team's opening match against HAVU on Mirage saw them take a narrow 7-5 halftime advantage. Shane "shane" Dressler delivered a crucial four-kill round to kick off the second half, helping SportsBetExpert secure a 13-9 victory with shane posting an impressive 24-12 scoreline.
However, things quickly turned south for the Americans. BBL dominated them 13-4 on Inferno, a particularly damaging loss since BBL ended the group stage 3-2, just one position ahead of SportsBetExpert. The struggles continued against Sangal on Anubis, where the European side raced to a 9-0 lead and cruised to another 13-4 win.
NIP delivered the most brutal defeat, crushing SportsBetExpert 13-1 on Cache while surrendering only a single round. The Americans managed to salvage some pride with a dominant 13-2 victory over XEPT on Mirage, but it proved too little too late.
With XEPT posting a winless 0-5 record and a devastating -48 round differential, SportsBetExpert's two victories weren't enough to escape the group stage. The team will look to bounce back at FRAG University in Syracuse, New York on October 9th.
