The iconic ENVY organization has officially returned to the Counter-Strike scene after disbanding back in 2021. The American org announced their comeback by signing the complete five-player lineup previously competing under 3DMAX.
The new ENVY squad features Lucky, Maka serving as in-game leader, Graviti, misutaaa, and Kursy. Details about the coaching setup have not been revealed at this time.
While ENVY is based in America, their greatest achievements historically came through French rosters. Most notably, Team EnVyUs captured the DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca 2015 Major championship. The organization previously housed legendary players such as kennyS, apEX, shox, Happy, and ScreaM. After experimenting with American and mixed international lineups, ENVY appears focused on recapturing their French Counter-Strike glory days.
The acquired roster brings considerable Tier 1 experience to the table. They secured victories at Tier 2 competitions including Logitech G Play Connect 2026 and NODWIN Clutch Series #11. Their Tier 1 credentials include a top-4 placement at PGL Bucharest this year. Although they fell short of IEM Cologne Major qualification, they reached the top half at both 2025 Majors and the 2024 Shanghai Major, demonstrating solid potential despite some inconsistency.
ENVY inherits 3DMAX's Valve Regional Standings position, starting at 21st globally and 16th in Europe. With Europe sending 18 teams to the Singapore Major and qualification closing in approximately one month, ENVY has a realistic shot at their first Major appearance since returning.
The revamped squad will debut at Stake Pulse Beat III beginning October 12. Their results there and potentially at DraculaN Season 7 will determine their Singapore Major qualification fate.
