The October edition of HLTV's Prospects list has arrived, featuring two American talents making their mark. Marsborne's Chance "WUMBO" Boyer and Bogdan "ogwizard" Savula both return from last month's rankings.
WUMBO has climbed four positions to reach #44 on the list, while ogwizard slipped nine spots down to #42. Meanwhile, Liquid AWPer Georgi "Jorko" Mitev dropped two places to #9, despite posting an impressive 1.31 rating across eight maps during Liquid's championship victory at iBUYPOWER Masters FML 2026. Iowa Stormboar's Ukrainian rifler Nazar "H0NEeST" Stefinko was highlighted as one of four players who narrowly missed breaking into the top-50.
The Marsborne pair demonstrated solid consistency across 54 maps since September, with WUMBO averaging a 1.20 rating and ogwizard posting 1.06. WUMBO's September performance was particularly noteworthy, as he exceeded a 1.25 rating at four of his eight tournaments, clearly contributing to his upward movement. Among all top-50 prospects, WUMBO ranked fourth in round-swing impact during even-numbered situations like 5v5s and 4v4s, trailing only Metizport's rising star Liam "MaiL09" Tügel.
Jorko has maintained a 1.11 average rating over 28 maps since early September, despite his exceptional FML showing. H0NeST has been in exceptional form recently, posting a 1.29 average rating across 36 maps since September first, surpassing his 1.23 average from the previous three-month period spanning 57 maps.
