The tournament run for Voca at Elisa BreakOut Series 2 came to an abrupt halt during the group stage, where they managed only a single victory across three matches.
Their opening encounter against Phantom on Ancient proved to be a one-sided affair. The American roster struggled to find their footing as Kamil "KEi" Pietkun dominated the server with 22 eliminations, leading Phantom to a commanding 13-4 victory that set the tone for Voca's difficult tournament.
The second match against HAVU on Cache offered a glimmer of hope initially. Despite falling behind 6-1 early, Voca mounted a comeback to narrow the gap to 7-5 by halftime. However, HAVU maintained composure and control throughout the second half, ultimately closing out the map 13-8 to punch their ticket to the playoff bracket.
With elimination already confirmed, Voca faced ROUNDS in a meaningless final group match where both teams sat at 0-2. Here, the Americans finally showcased their potential. Wyatt "snav" Phillippi and Edgar "MarKE" Maldonado stepped up significantly, posting 26 and 21 kills respectively to secure a 13-9 consolation victory.
Looking ahead, Voca will compete at FiRe LAST CHANCE shortly before the PGL Major Singapore qualification deadline, though their chances of reaching the Major appear slim. The team will also attend Austin LAN in November, providing an opportunity to accumulate crucial VRS points in the early stages of qualification for FiReMajor Buenos Aires 2027.
