Villainous removes Jolts while DYLAN considers roster move

October 13, 20262 min read

Villainous has parted ways with Connor "Jolts" Haines just days after his official return to the active roster. This marks the third departure for Jolts from the organization's core lineup. The decision follows disappointing results in recent ECL Cup matches and CROSSFIRE Season 6 competitions.

While Villainous hasn't issued any official statement through their social channels, Jolts himself announced his free agency status yesterday. The rifler confirmed to Dust2.us that management cut him from the squad rather than it being his own decision, stating the team wants to bring in a different player.

Jolts has been part of the Villainous core since their mouse days. Despite technically stepping down in late September before rejoining last week, he never stopped competing with the team during that period. Over the past month, he posted a 0.98 rating across 28 maps, the lowest performance among his teammates.

Meanwhile, in-game leader Dylan "DYLAN" Frivalt revealed he's exploring opportunities with other organizations. Also a mouse veteran, DYLAN told Dust2.us he has received one offer but will remain with Villainous if they successfully secure a suitable fifth player.

The current Villainous roster includes DYLAN, Kyle "Sunk" Kallahan, Jasper "Burglar" Martin, and Matthew "bright" Ulatowski as they search for their next addition.
