Umar Rejoins Overtake Sector Roster After Work Schedule Changes

October 13, 20261 min read1 views

Umar Qaiser has made his way back to Overtake Sector, the roster he departed from on September 29th, as confirmed to Dust2.us. His presence with the squad was noticed during their recent appearances in CROSSFIRE Season 6 and ESL Challenger League Season 52 Cup 3.

The reunion became possible after Qaiser experienced changes in his work schedule, freeing up additional time to dedicate to Counter-Strike 2. When he shared this update with Overtake Sector management, they responded by presenting him with a fresh contract that facilitated his seamless integration back into the lineup with his previous teammates.

The comeback wasn't entirely smooth sailing, though. Qaiser had apparently committed to competing with FarmVille, another former squad of his, during the same ESL Challenger League Season 52 Cup 3. His unexpected return to Overtake Sector forced a last-minute change of plans, leaving FarmVille in a difficult position. The team had to forfeit their scheduled match against Overtake Sector before regrouping with Bishrel Tamir stepping in as a stand-in.

The current Overtake Sector lineup now features Israel Vargas, Jason Garcia, Fern Hak, Augustin Morales, and the returning Qaiser, with Justin Miller continuing in his coaching role.
