Zolbayar "tikuak" Chimedtseren is rejoining Chinggis Warriors after a short and challenging period with The MongolZ. The 17-year-old's return marks the end of a brief chapter that didn't go as planned for either party.
During his time with The MongolZ, tikuak struggled to replicate the form that made him one of the region's hottest prospects. The team managed only a 9-16th place finish at EWC and crashed out in last place at FISSURE Playground 3. The squad faced constant instability, with Anarbileg "cobrazera" Uuganbayar and Sodbayar "Techno" Munkhbold being rotated in and out of the active lineup.
When tikuak signed with The MongolZ in July, expectations were high. He had established himself as Chinggis Warriors' standout performer, maintaining an impressive 1.15 rating that earned him multiple mentions in HLTV's Prospects rankings. However, stepping up to face tougher competition proved difficult. Across 21 maps with The MongolZ, he posted just a 0.91 rating, though he showed glimpses of potential during BLAST Bounty S2's online matches.
The departure leaves The MongolZ in a tight spot. With coach Erdenedalai "maaRaa" Bayanbat now managing just three active players—Sodbayar "Techno" Munkhbold, Garidmagnai "bLitz" Byambasuren, and Usukhbayar "910" Banzragch—the organization needs to find replacements quickly. Their next tournament, PGL Masters Bucharest, is approaching in less than four weeks.
