Snappi Begins Coaching Career with HEROIC

October 1, 20262 min read1 views

HEROIC have officially appointed Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer as their new head coach, marking the end of his nearly two-decade playing career. The Danish organization announced the move on Thursday, with Snappi replacing Joonas "doto" Forss, who was benched the same day.

This appointment brings Snappi back to familiar territory, as he previously competed for HEROIC across two separate periods between 2016 and 2020, totaling over two years with the organization. His playing days concluded in late August when he departed from Ninjas in Pyjamas, just weeks after reports surfaced about his potential role transition.

Snappi now takes charge of a squad currently sitting at 17th in the global rankings. The team has shown promise this season, capturing victories at Stake Ranked Episode 3 and Stake Pulse Beat II. According to projections, they hold a 77.4% probability of securing qualification for the Singapore Major.

The German tactician will make his coaching debut at Stake Pulse Beat III in Stockholm, scheduled for October 12-17. The $80,000 LAN event will feature notable opponents including Astralis, MIBR, and Envy.

Snappi is set to appear on HLTV Confirmed at 19:00 to share insights about this career shift and reflect on his tenure with Ninjas in Pyjamas. His new roster consists of nilo, susp, Chr1zN, MartinezSa, and Brollan.
