The newly restructured Sashi lineup made their official debut at Stake Pulse Beat III, but their first appearance ended in disappointment as they exited the tournament without securing a single map win.
Following the controversial roster changes that brought in Oceanic players Tynan "TjP" Purtell and Jordan "Hatz" Bajic, while Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand returned after Michael "chelleos" Hawkins was removed, the team struggled to find their rhythm at the event.
Their tournament run began with a respectable but ultimately unsuccessful 0-2 showing against the revamped Astralis squad. However, their elimination match against Fnatic exposed the team's growing pains. On Inferno, Sashi's map selection, Fnatic dominated the CT-side to establish an 8-1 advantage. Despite Sashi narrowing the deficit to 8-4 at halftime and mounting an impressive 5-1 comeback run to level the score at 9-9, Fnatic regained control and secured four consecutive rounds for a 13-9 victory.
The second map, Fnatic's Ancient pick, proved even more one-sided. Fnatic stormed to a 5-0 opening before Sashi managed to claim four rounds, leaving them trailing 8-4 at the break. After claiming the second pistol round, Fnatic overwhelmed their opponents, closing out the map 13-4 and sending Sashi home.
The Danish organization will look to bounce back at DraculaN Season 7, where they're scheduled to face MOUZ NXT on October 19th at 06:45 AM in their opening match.
