Vitality emerged as major winners, climbing to the number two seed after their impressive performance at StarSeries Fall. Aurora also benefited significantly, jumping three spots to claim seventh seed following their strong showing at the same tournament.
Not all teams gained ground through peer evaluation. MOUZ and 9z each dropped two positions compared to their VRS rankings after being assessed by fellow competitors. The seeding methodology excluded statistical outliers to ensure fair representation of team strength.
The matchup format differs from Major conventions. Rather than pairing seed one against seed nine, ESL opted for traditional bracketing where top seeds face bottom seeds.
