Arctic Ace has officially shut down operations approximately 100 days after acquiring the Outfit 49 roster and staff, as reported by ThirdSite. The team's social media presence has now reverted to Phantom Sense, the name under which the Canadian core previously competed before joining Outfit 49 in May.
During their time operating as Phantom Sense, the Canadian squad achieved notable success by reaching the playoffs in both CROSSFIRE Season 3 and Season 4. Their stint under the Arctic Ace organization was marked by a temporary roster change when Jon Kalacis stepped away from competitive play to serve as a firefighter in British Columbia during a severe wildfire crisis.
The Phantom Sense lineup remains intact with all six members: Eric Dee, Andrew McGrath, Lukasz Brodowicz, Eduard Kuchynskyi, Liam McDermott, and Jon Kalacis. The team will continue competing under their original banner as they move forward in the competitive scene.
This development represents another chapter in the evolving landscape of North American Counter-Strike, where organizational stability continues to be a challenge for many rosters. The Canadian core will look to build on their previous playoff performances as they return to familiar territory under the Phantom Sense name.
