NineFly wasted no time in rebuilding after parting ways with their previous roster. The organization has officially unveiled a new five-man squad built around the former smokepoint core that competed in ESEA Advanced Season 58, where they finished in the 17-24th placement range.
The lineup marks the return of Ryan "RMV1207" Vesey to NineFly, who will be joined by three players from the smokepoint project. The roster is rounded out by Fadi "Fade" Al-Najjar, who has decided to come out of retirement for this opportunity. Fade last competed professionally at FRAG 16 Chicago back in 2022, making this comeback a significant moment for the veteran player.
The complete NineFly roster features RMV1207, Enkae, Bill "Specter" Tran, Austin "coolgamer42" Waite, and Fade. This mix of experienced players and the proven chemistry from the smokepoint core gives NineFly a solid foundation as they look to make their mark in the competitive scene.
Fans won't have to wait long to see the new squad in action, as they are scheduled to make their debut in ESEA Advanced Season 59. The team will be looking to improve on smokepoint's previous results and establish themselves as a competitive force in the division.
