MOUZ have booked their place in the ESL Pro League Season 24 grand final following a nail-biting 2-1 series win against Spirit. The matches ended 13-7 on Dust2, 9-13 on Mirage, and 13-11 on Nuke.
This marks MOUZ's third grand final appearance this season, where they will face Vitality for the championship. Spirit, meanwhile, will compete against Aurora for third place. Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás expressed optimism after the victory, noting the team's renewed confidence and fresh roster composition compared to previous encounters with Vitality.
The opening map, Dust2, saw Spirit struggle early despite winning the pistol round. They fell behind 2-8 before mounting a five-round comeback. However, MOUZ regained control after winning a critical half-buy round when Danil "donk" Kryshkovets overextended at Lower. Torzsi delivered an exceptional performance, capping it with a clutch 3k in a post-plant situation.
Spirit found their rhythm on Mirage, with donk finally heating up. He led his team with 19 eliminations and sealed the map with a decisive 1vs2 clutch to force a decider.
Nuke became the battleground for the series outcome. Despite Spirit winning the pistol round again, MOUZ quickly took charge behind Oldřich "PR" Nový's firepower. The Czech rifler dropped 17 frags in the first half, helping his team secure a 7-5 advantage. Though Spirit fought back with clutches from Andrey "tN1R" Tatarinovich and Myroslav "zont1x" Plakhotia, PR remained unstoppable. He finished with 27 kills, while Lotan "Spinx" Giladi redeemed himself after losing a 1vs1 with a crucial double elimination that sealed MOUZ's 13-11 triumph.
