FaZe Clan secured victory at Roman Imperium Cup IX this Saturday, delivering a commanding 2-0 performance against NAVI Junior in the grand finals. The triumph propelled them up 14 positions in the worldwide VRS rankings, landing at 16th place.
Led by Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, the roster now holds a 71.8% probability of earning a spot at the PGL Major Singapore, based on recent HLTV calculations. Before the November 2 invitation deadline, FaZe will compete at two additional LAN tournaments: DraculaN Season 7 running from October 19-23 in Bucharest, followed by the RLG Tesla Cup from October 27-29 in Belgrade.
This marks FaZe's first LAN championship since their IEM Chengdu 2024 victory, with David "frozen" Čerňanský being the only remaining player from that winning lineup. Their most recent LAN finals appearance at HLC Belgrade PRO 2026 resulted in a defeat to BIG, which eliminated their chances at the IEM Cologne Major.
The Roman Imperium Cup IX finals saw FaZe completely overwhelm their opponents, allowing just four rounds across both maps. However, their tournament journey wasn't without challenges. They fought back from one-map deficits twice—first against Sangal in the opening round, then versus NAVI Junior in the upper bracket finals, where the decisive map required overtime to determine the winner.
