The North American squad delivered an unstoppable performance throughout the tournament, completing their campaign without dropping a single map while securing the $12,500 first-place prize. Despite entering as heavy favorites, the victory represents a meaningful milestone for Liquid after years without LAN hardware.
Liquid's path began in groups with a swift victory against Chicken Coop, followed by a somewhat tougher battle with NRG that they ultimately controlled. The playoffs saw them face M80 in a semifinal clash, where they narrowly edged Cache 16-13 before demolishing their opponents 13-2 on Anubis.
The grand finals against Wildcard showcased Liquid's superiority. On Inferno, they built a commanding 10-2 advantage from their CT half and closed out 13-3. Anubis followed a similar script, with Liquid establishing an 8-4 lead on the terrorist side. Wildcard attempted a comeback after the switch, but Liquid's momentum proved unstoppable as they sealed a 13-9 victory.
