The team faced unusual challenges heading into the tournament. Their coach was unable to attend due to illness, forcing players to prepare on iPads instead of proper setups. Despite receiving messages and voice notes from their coach back home, the circumstances were far from ideal.
The Norwegian star didn't mince words about the team's performance. They had expected to reach the finals with three or four wins, making the early exit particularly bitter. Even with their coach absent, hallzerk felt the poor showing was inexcusable.
Individual performance emerged as the primary issue. The team struggled to secure eliminations, and their CT sides looked chaotic and disorganized. With the Major approaching, the disappointing result added extra pressure to an already tense situation.
On a personal level, hallzerk felt sharp coming off his break from Passion UA. The time away had been mentally refreshing, though not touching a PC for a week before the tournament left him feeling slightly rusty initially.
Reuniting with former teammate Grim brought some comfort to the new lineup. Having played together for four or five years, Grim served as a familiar presence that helped hallzerk settle into the unfamiliar roster.
